Important Recall Safety Notice & Frequently Asked Questions
April 17th, 2025: Casely Inc., in collaboration with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling certain Casely Power Pods because the lithium-ion battery in the recalled devices can potentially overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. The units were sold online at getcasely.com, amazon.com, and other e-commerce websites from March 2022 through September 2024.
If you own a qualifying Power Pod, please stop using it immediately. Follow the instructions to request a free UL-certified replacement and then dispose of the affected device according to your local lithium-ion battery disposal guidelines.
How do I know if my Power Pod is part of the recall?
Power Pod (Model: E33A) - Prior to September 2024
Out of an abundance of caution, Casely is conducting a voluntary recall of select Power Pod (Model: E33A) portable chargers due to a risk of the battery overheating.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Not all Power Pods are impacted by this recall - only specific styles and production periods qualify. All other battery packs remain safe for use.
Frequently Asked Questions
If my Power Pod needs to be replaced, what exactly am I getting?
You will receive a brand-new UL-Certified Power Pod. There are a variety of colors available for replacement.

What should I do with the Power Pod?
Please stop using the device immediately. Follow the steps to submit your claim and then dispose of it in accordance with your local regulations for recalled lithium-ion batteries. Before taking your battery or device to an HHW collection center, contact them ahead of time and ask whether they accept recalled lithium-ion batteries. If they don’t, contact your municipality for further guidance.
Can I get a refund instead of a replacement?
At this time, we are only offering a product replacement. Refunds or other forms of credit are not available as part of this recall.
