IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING

Read all instructions and warnings prior to using this product. Improper use of this product may result in product damage, excess heat, toxic fumes, fire or explosion, for which damages you (“Purchaser”), and not Casely, Inc (“Manufacturer”) are responsible.

When using this product, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. While charging your phone with your Power Pod, do not place your phone under a blanket, pillow, your body, a purse, or a bag. While charging your phone your Power Pod and phone should be in a well-ventilated area.
  2. Before using your Power Pod for the first time, fully charge it (so that clicking the charge status button lights all 4 status LEDs)
  3. Store product in a cool and dry place.
  4. Do not store device in high-temperature environment, including heat caused by intense sunlight or other forms of heat. Do not place device in fire or other excessively hot environments. Exposure to fire or temperature above 212°F (100°C) may cause explosion.
  5. This product should be operated only in open-air conditions. It should not be operated in an enclosed, unventilated space such as a carrying bag, pocket, purse, car or bedding. Failure to follow these instructions may damage the product by overheating.
  6. Use of a power supply or charger not included by Casely may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
  7. Do not leave your Power Pod charging overnight or for extended periods of time. It is recommended to only charge your Power Pod for up to 3 hours.
  8. Avoid recharging the Power Pod and iPhone at the same time.
  9. Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
  10. Do not disassemble this device or attempt to re-purpose or modify it in any manner.
  11. For questions or instructions for the various ways to charge this device, refer to the illustrations in this instruction manual.
  12. Do not disconnect the Power Pod battery from a connected device while the device is charging—wait until the device is fully charged.
  13. Be cautious of drops, bumps, abrasions, or other impacts to this device. If there is any damage to the device such as dents, punctures, tears, deformities, or corrosion due to any cause, discontinue use. Contact Manufacturer or dispose of it in an appropriate manner at your local battery-recycling center.
  14. Do not use the battery case in excess of its output rating. Overloading outputs above rating may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
  15. Do not attempt to replace any part of this device.
  16. Operating temperature should be between 32°F to 104°F / 0°C to 40°C. High temperatures will reduce charging speed and restrict power, which is something that happens to all wireless chargers. It is recommended that you charge your device in environments with temperatures below 25°C / 77°F. Note: When your Power Pod exceeds the temperature limit, the battery level indicator will turn off. Let your Power Pod cool down before use.
  17. Do not disassemble the product. Take it to a qualified service person when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
  18. If the product is not used for long periods of time, you should change and discharge it once every three months.
  19. When charging a device, the product may feel warm, this is a normal operating condition and should not be cause for concern.
  20. In normal conditions, the battery performance will decline over several years.
  21. Do not dispose of the product in heat or fire.
  22. Do not expose the battery case to rain or snow.
  23. Do not clean the product with harmful chemicals or detergents.
  24. Misuse, dropping, or excessive force may cause product damage.
  25. When disposing of secondary cells or batteries, keep cells or batteries of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.
  26. Be aware that a discharged battery may cause fire or smoke. Tape the terminals to insulate them.
  27. If this device is accessible to or may be used by a minor, purchasing adult agrees to be solely responsible for providing supervision, instruction, and warnings. Purchaser agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Manufacturer harmless for any claims or damages arising from unintended use or misuse by a minor.
  28. All products have gone through a thorough quality assurance inspection. If you find that your device is excessively hot, is emitting odor, is deformed, abraded, cut or is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal phenomenon, immediately stop all product use and contact Manufacturer.
  29. Never dispose of batteries in the garbage. Disposal of batteries in the garbage is unlawful under state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Always take used batteries to your local battery-recycling center. Find a battery recycling location near you: call2recycle.org
  30. Switch off the portable battery when not in use.
  31. To comply with FCC/IC RF exposure compliance requirements, the wireless charger must be used with a separation distance of at least cm from all persons.
  32. This device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.
